Short Description
Production Optimization Laboratory (OptimProd Lab) aims to develop research and education in the field of integrated production optimization. This laboratory has been actively used since August 2015.
Current activity:
- Research on optimization of Intermittent Gas Lift well production (conducted by 1 S3 person and 1 master degree from Mathematics ITB). This research is a joint research between Mathematics Study Program and ITB Petroleum Engineering Study Program
- Research on prediction of corrosion and wax deposition (conducted by 1 student S1 petroleum engineering).
The next plan:
Looking for more students to do research in engineering production optimization petroleum with integrated research between surface and sub-surface as well as stand-alone model.
